Thoroughbred® Software International, Inc.® has been providing mission critical business solutions to developers and end-users since 1982. Over the years Thoroughbred has been aware that customers want to capitalize on past achievements. As such, we provide software solutions that allow evolution, not revolution. Thoroughbred's growing family of products is designed to provide the evolutionary path needed to adopt new technologies quickly. We provide a path for software developers who also support non-Thoroughbred-based solutions that communicate with their Thoroughbred-based solutions.

Our Object-Oriented and Web-Based Development Environments and Services enable the developer to develop applications in a structured environment with normalized databases compatible with today's standards, requirements and connectivity. Our Disaster Recovery and Internet application tools provide flexibility for the developer and end-user in building systems that fit their requirements.

We design our software to provide a combination of interoperability, portability and open software standards. Whether you use UNIX, Linux, Windows or OpenVMS, your applications will run without program modifications. Workstations can support both graphical and browser-based user interfaces. Internet processing technologies are incorporated into our newest Environments and Servers. Our TS WebServer™ and T-WEB™ products allow you to participate in exciting new Internet markets including e-Commerce/Business and Application Service Provider (ASP) or Hosted applications models.

Security and disaster recovery are accommodated with DataSafeGuard™ and open database concepts are supported with our DataServers for ODBC, Oracle, XML and MS SQL Server. Thoroughbred databases can be replicated to other industry standard databases as well.

Product Overview

Solution-IV® Accounting

Thoroughbred Solution-IV Accounting is a full-featured, Graphical/Object Oriented line of accounting software and options that enable Solution-IV to be adopted for virtually any market application. The system provides a seamless integration and sharing of common data between the accounting modules. It is designed to be installed either "off the shelf" or customized and integrated with your own vertical software packages. Features include multi-company accounting, online file lookup windows, context sensitive help, and many hooks to Windows-based products.

Solution-IV® Reprographics

Solution-IV Reprographics is a full-featured, Graphical/Object-Oriented line of accounting software and business management software designed for the Reprographics Industry. It contains all the features of the Solution-IV Accounting package with the important business management modules necessary for a reprographics business. Such modules include: Credit Card Processing, Payroll, Job Tracking, Inventory Control, Order Processing with Point of Sale, Service Contracts, Web Services, Pricing/Discounts, Form Creation, and Prospect Management. ezREPRO, a compact version of this product, is available and includes: Accounts Receivable, Inventory Control, Order Processing with Point of Sale, System Utilities, and the Executive Summary.

Software Development Products

All Thoroughbred development environments operate on UNIX, Linux, Windows and VMS operating systems.

T-WEB™

T-WEB is a browser-based development system, which integrates several of Thoroughbred's development tools including: Thoroughbred Basic™, OPENworkshop®, T-WEB compiler, TS XML DataServer™, TS WebServer™ and Dictionary-IV™. Develop Web-Based applications using Thoroughbred and 3rd party tools with T-WEB.

TS WebServer™

Thoroughbred's TS WebServer Environment is a custom integration of Linux, the Apache WebServer, and the Thoroughbred OPENworkshop® Development Environment. TS WebServer provides the building blocks for developing Internet processing, e-Commerce/Business and hosted applications. TS WebServer is included in T-WEB.

OPENworkshop®

Thoroughbred OPENworkshop provides an Object-Oriented approach to software development. It employs and expands on the key ingredients to Object-Oriented Development including: Objects, Methods, Messaging, and Classes. OPENworkshop is a natural extension of the previous Thoroughbred 4GL-development environments taking full advantage of the Object definitions and a 3-tier architecture. The VIP GUI interface is included with OPENworkshop.

Thoroughbred Environment™

The Thoroughbred Environment is a classic, industry-standard 3GL Business Basic programming environment that includes: Thoroughbred Basic, Dictionary-IV™, and Source-IV™. Thoroughbred Basic Features include: Thoroughbred's extended Business Basic language - Direct, B Tree, multi-key and C-ISAM file type support; extended variable names; textual error messages; string and numeric arrays; operating systems access via shell commands, pipes, and XCALL; powerful system, screen, printer, and window management; business math functions; transaction processing; and machine-independent pseudo-code.

TS Network DataServer™

TS Network DataServer provides true Client/Server architecture to a Thoroughbred-based network. UNIX and Windows Network Servers are supported providing flexibility, performance and reliability to network system architectures.

Disaster Recovery/Transaction Logging

DataSafeGuard™

DataSafeGuard provides real-time data back-up and recovery protection and transaction journaling for your most important asset – your data. DSG also provides the capability to write transactions to databases other than Thoroughbred's database.

Database Access Products

Thoroughbred Database Products are designed to work in network environments with UNIX, Linux, Windows and OpenVMS based Servers.

TS ODBC DataServer™

TS ODBC DataServer allows ODBC compliant applications and databases including: Excel, Crystal Reports, MS Word and other ODBC compliant Databases access to read or write to the Thoroughbred Database.

TS ORACLE DataServer™

Thoroughbred's TS ORACLE DataServer allows a Thoroughbred-based application to act as a Client to an ORACLE database Server. The TS ORACLE DataServer may reside locally or span mixed platforms.

TS DataServer™ for MS SQL Server

Thoroughbred's TS DataServer for MS SQL Server allows a Thoroughbred-based application to act as a Client to the MS SQL Server database. The TS DataServer for MS SQL Server may reside locally or span mixed platforms.

TS XML DataServer™

TS XML DataServer gives you the ability to share and expose your Thoroughbred® data with remote servers and third party tools using XML. By using simple SQL style syntax you can access data from any Dictionary-IV™ defined database and return the results in XML format. The XML formatted data can be rendered as HTML in a browser or shared with other third party tools.

Product Maintenance and Support Programs

Thoroughbred provides Product Maintenance and Support Programs that are designed to keep your Thoroughbred software up to date with the latest enhancements, technologies and updates. We have several support programs that provide the support services you need based on your level of knowledge of your system, from complete IT support to programming item support.

Thoroughbred Hosted Services

Thoroughbred Hosted Services include hosting applications, back-up systems, redundant-live back-up systems, off-site storage and Web Server hosting.
