TS ReportServer allows Thoroughbred-based reports to be displayed, printed and saved to a Windows-based workstation directly from a Thoroughbred application. TS ReportServer features enable the user to change the font, define the printer, search and find key words in the report and copy either selected portions or the entire report to a saved file or other Windows-based application. TS ReportServer FlexibilityTS ReportServer provides user flexibility when printing reports from Thoroughbred-based applications. Simply define the TS ReportServer in the printer setup routine in the Thoroughbred Environment and it's ready to use. The TS ReportServer then enables the user to view the report before it is to be printed, review previous reports page by page, alter the output font type and size, and print to any printer defined in the Windows Print Manager. TS ReportServer operation is seamless to the application. Save the ReportSystem reports and queries can be saved to Windows files for archiving and future viewing or reprinting. The print files can be saved as either .rps or .txt file types, and later selected, viewed and printed by TS ReportServer or many other Windows-based applications including Microsoft Excel and Word applications. User Friendly FeaturesTS ReportServer is designed to function as a Windows Server process that responds to messages received from a host application. Host applications include Thoroughbred Report-IV, Query-IV, Gateway for Windows, and Thoroughbred-based applications. Remote PrintingUsers can define a report to print to the TS ReportServer locally or at a remote site and achieve the same trouble free results. The problems sometimes associated with terminal emulator-based "slave printing" processes are eliminated, plus the report can be saved on the remote workstation for future use and reference.
