THOROUGHBRED SOFTWARE INTERNATIONAL, INC. SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT. YOU SHOULD CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS RELATING TO YOUR LICENSING OF THE ENCLOSED THOROUGHBRED SOFTWARE PRODUCT BEFORE YOU OPEN THIS PACKAGE. OPENING THIS PACKAGE INDICATES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THEM, YOU SHOULD PROMPTLY RETURN THE PACKAGE, UNOPENED, TO THOROUGHBRED OR THE DEALER FROM WHOM YOU ACQUIRED IT AND YOUR PURCHASE PRICE WILL BE REFUNDED.

Guidelines for Use of the Thoroughbred Software International, Inc. Company Name, Product Names, and Logos

With permission from Thoroughbred Software International, Inc., authorized resellers of Thoroughbred Software products may issue press releases, advertise, or publish in their reference manuals that they are using Thoroughbred Software products. We encourage them to note the compatibility of their product with Thoroughbred environments. The following guidelines describe the proper use of the Thoroughbred company name, product name, and logo.

General Guidelines

  1. Do not shorten, abbreviate, or make the Thoroughbred company name or product part of an acronym.

    Proper Use ABC Company uses the products of Thoroughbred® Software International, Inc.
    ABC uses the products of Thoroughbred® Software
    ABC[Product Name] for Dictionary-IV™
    Improper Use ABC Company uses the products of Thoroughbred®

  2. Use phrases such as "for use with," "compatible with," or "for" with the specific Thoroughbred Software product-line. Avoid any implication that products are produced, endorsed, or supported by Thoroughbred® Software.

  3. Distinguish the Thoroughbred company name, product name, or logo visually from your name by putting it in a different font, in a different color, or on a different line.

  4. Do not use the Thoroughbred company name or product name in the possessive or plural form.

Thoroughbred Software Product Names and Product Family Names Guidelines

  1. Use the proper trademark or registered trademark symbol and format for the Thoroughbred product. If you do not use the symbol, the proper designation is:

  2. The Thoroughbred name may be used with the product name (such as Thoroughbred Dictionary-IV®). Do not use the Thoroughbred name when referring to TbredComm™, TS ChartServer™, TS Network DataServer™, TS ODBC DataServer™, TS ORACLE DataServer™, or TS ReportServer™.

Terms and Conditions of Sale

Payment Terms

Prepaid or COD with certified check on initial orders over $1000 or if account has been inactive for 12 months. All COD orders over $5000 require certified check, unless otherwise approved by Thoroughbred Software Credit Department. All prices listed are based on cash sales. Other forms of payment are subject to a processing fee.
