Thoroughbred Web Terminal, or TSWebTerm, is Thoroughbred’s web terminal emulator for character-based Thoroughbred applications. It runs on the server, so users need nothing but a browser. It is built for Thoroughbred development environments, with the standard features of an emulator plus support specific to Thoroughbred products.

From release 8.9.1, Thoroughbred Web Terminal replaces T-Connect Web Terminal.

How it works

TSWebTerm runs on a Linux server, started from a script or as a service. Users open the server’s address in a browser and log in, and the session connects over SSH. Connections use HTTP, or HTTPS when TSWebTerm is started with an SSL certificate. Emulation uses the TSWEBTRM terminal table, which is designed for it.

One TSWebTerm server can also act as a secure web-based gateway, giving users browser access to other systems on your network.
